Scope of work
What I can take on
- 01 I launch stores on PrestaShop 8.x and 9.x, preparing the theme, configuration and production deployment.
- 02 I add features, rebuild modules and clean up code that holds back the development of an existing store.
- 03 I create custom themes with a feature set matched to the project.
- 04 I write modules that follow the PrestaShop API and take future updates into account.
- 05 I configure multistore, multiple languages and currencies.
- 06 I review core changes, overrides and unused modules left behind by earlier implementations.
When PrestaShop fits the business
I consider this platform for a large catalogue, when you need control over code and data, and when you want a model with no platform commission on turnover. The availability of modules and developers makes maintenance easier to plan. Knowing the engine lets me judge which needs can be met out of the box and which require extra work.
First I confirm the technology choice
For non-standard B2B price lists for hundreds of accounts, complex configurators or several front ends, I also consider Sylius. For a small catalogue and limited technical resources, I consider WooCommerce or SaaS. We compare these options before implementation starts.
The project stays accessible to you
I hand over documentation, the code repository, a description of the environments and the release procedure. These materials let you maintain the store and make it easier to pass further work to another contractor.

Questions about working together
How much time should I plan for an implementation?
A standard store with a custom theme and two integrations usually takes 8 to 14 weeks. A migration with data retention and SEO preparation needs at least 6 weeks. The schedule depends on the agreed scope.
Can I choose a ready-made theme?
Yes, if it meets the requirements and the budget. Before choosing, I check its features and bundled modules. A feature-heavy package may contain elements you don't need that slow the store down.
Will you take over the store's development from another contractor?
Yes. First I review the code and list the core changes to establish the state of the project. You will get the audit results even if you decide not to commission further work from me.
What do you offer if I use a different system?
I can advise, run an audit and help plan development. For implementation I specialise in PrestaShop. On other platforms I define the scope of help after an analysis; it may include assessing work, choosing a contractor and accepting the implementation.
