Scope of work
What I can take on
- 01 I move stores from PrestaShop 1.6 and 1.7 to version 8.x or 9.x.
- 02 I prepare migrations from WooCommerce, Magento and SaaS platforms to PrestaShop.
- 03 I migrate products, categories, customer data, orders and their history.
- 04 I list the existing URLs and prepare a 301 redirect map that reflects the store's structure.
- 05 I rebuild required features that the new version doesn't offer in their previous form.
- 06 I test the new store before going live and schedule the switchover for the lowest-traffic time.
First an inventory of features and dependencies
Before quoting I review the modules and how they are actually used. I establish which have equivalents in the new system and which need to be rebuilt. That way the migration plan covers how the store works and what it connects to, not just moving files and records.
Do you really need to change platforms?
I precede a migration with an assessment of the current store. If the problems come from a few modules or missing database indexes, a fix may cost less and pay off sooner. I recommend changing platforms after comparing these options.
Existing URLs and search traffic
Before the migration I collect URLs from the index and the sitemaps. I prepare their equivalents, and after launch I check the redirects and traffic. Keeping the structure helps limit the risk of visibility changes. Projects where content and navigation change at the same time need a separate assessment.

Questions about working together
How long will the store be offline?
I prepare the new version in a separate environment while the current store keeps running. Downtime is needed only for the switchover itself and usually lasts a quarter of an hour or so. We agree the exact procedure before deployment.
How will you protect my Google visibility?
I list the existing URLs, keep their structure where possible and prepare redirects. After launch I check that they work. I also assess the risk of ranking changes in light of planned changes to content and navigation; I don't promise any specific search result.
