About me
My name is Artur Stempień. I advise companies on growing their e-commerce and work on PrestaShop stores. I combine a developer's experience with hands-on practice in the team behind the platform.
I have been building and developing websites for more than a decade. I started as a developer, and for three years I worked in the PrestaShop team as a Solution Engineer. I worked on the platform’s code and supported its experts. Today I help companies make decisions about their stores and put the necessary changes in place.
I usually start with a conversation and a diagnosis. I want to understand how the business works, what the team needs and what is holding sales back. On that basis I can judge whether you need an audit, a growth plan, a fix or a new implementation.
What knowing PrestaShop from the maker’s side gives me
Working on the platform taught me its architecture and the reasons certain solutions work the way they do. I know where to look for the causes of errors, which limitations need to be taken into account and which modifications can make later updates harder.
This knowledge helps with diagnosis, scoping work and choosing a solution. It helps tell a settings change apart from a problem that needs code to be rebuilt. With PrestaShop I also do the hands-on work: implementations, modules and developing existing stores.
From a question about your store to a plan of action
You can come to me with quotes you find hard to compare, an idea to change platforms or a list of problems piling up in your current store. I put the information in order, check the technical side of the project and present options with their costs and consequences.
In ongoing cooperation I help set priorities, assess new ideas and talk to contractors. If the analysis shows that development work is needed, we can agree a separate scope for it.
I match the technology to the business
PrestaShop is my main specialisation. I also provide consulting, audits and growth planning for WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify, Sylius and custom-built stores. I compare solutions against how you sell, your integrations and your team’s capabilities.
For non-standard processes that are hard to model well in an off-the-shelf platform, I consider Sylius. In simpler projects I assess whether a less complex system is enough. The recommendation should follow from the store’s needs and the cost of maintaining it.
Who I work with
Most often I help companies with a catalogue of more than a thousand products and at least one important integration, e.g. with an ERP, a warehouse or a marketplace. I also support manufacturers and distributors starting direct sales, and e-commerce teams that need an independent technical opinion.
I work remotely with companies across Poland. Workshops and the kick-off of a larger project can take place at your premises.
How I approach recommendations
I take no commission from ERP vendors, store platforms or module makers. I bill consulting separately from implementation. If the current store can be put in order at a lower cost, I consider that option before proposing a rebuild.
The first call is free. You tell me about your store, I ask questions and make an initial assessment of how I can help. If it turns out that a simple configuration change is enough, I will explain it during the call. Write and tell me what you need.
